Chick-fil-A Announces June 25 Opening In Flowers Plantation

CLAYTON, N.C. — Residents of the rapidly growing Flowers Plantation community will soon have a new dining option close to home.
Chick-fil-A in Flowers Plantation will open on Thursday, June 25 at 6:00 a.m. The new restaurant, located at 10 SE Flowers Parkway, is expected to create approximately 130 full- and part-time jobs.
The restaurant will be owned and operated by Bob Bangs, a longtime Chick-fil-A Owner-Operator who has spent nearly two decades operating restaurants in North Carolina.
“Chick-fil-A isn’t only in the chicken business — we’re in the people business,” Bangs said. “Opening Chick-fil-A Flowers is an exciting opportunity to invest in Team Members through meaningful career opportunities while caring for our neighbors through initiatives that strengthen our local community.”

Bangs began his Chick-fil-A career in 2002 as a manager in Wake Forest before becoming an Owner-Operator in 2008. For the past 18 years, he has operated restaurants in the Fayetteville area. He said he looks forward to establishing the new location as a positive presence in the Flowers Plantation community.
The restaurant will offer dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, third-party delivery, mobile pickup and Mobile Thru service. It will also feature a redesigned indoor playground with interactive activities and floor-to-ceiling illustrations designed for children.
To celebrate the opening, guests who visit the restaurant dressed in cow-themed attire will receive a free entrée or kid’s meal. The promotion, known as the “Moove-In Party,” is valid while supplies last and no purchase is required.
As part of the grand opening, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America to support the work of local partner organizations, including Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.
The new restaurant will also participate in Chick-fil-A’s Shared Table program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofit organizations.
The restaurant will be open Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
