Chicken Salad Chick Holds Grand Opening

SMITHFIELD – Chicken Salad Chick of Smithfield’s grand opening was held on Wednesday, June 18. The first 100 guests in line won free chicken salad for an entire year.

Chicken Salad Chick of Smithfield is owned and operated by first-time franchise owners and husband-and-wife duo, Heather and Clay Harmon.

The new Smithfield restaurant is conveniently located at 924 North Brightleaf Boulevard and offers in-restaurant and outdoor patio dining, drive-thru, take-out, third-party delivery, and catering options.

As part of pre-opening Friends & Family events in Smithfield, the restaurant also raised $3,067.44 for UNC Johnston Health Foundation’s Angel Fund, which supports cancer patients by providing financial assistance to buy medications, gas for transportation to medical appointments, wigs, prosthetic devices, and more. This cause is especially meaningful to the Harmons, as Heather’s mother has been battling a diagnosis of stage four colon cancer for five years.

LOOK GARY THERE I AM
Really disappointed! Tried to place an online order, website was unavailable Called to place a phone order, was told that due to not having enough staff they were no longer doing online or phone orders, and that orders had to be in person at the restaurant. Not off to a good start!!
I tried to eat there three different times. #1 Ran out of food. #2 Tried the drive thru and I ended up sitting there 15 minutes when a man came out, put cones in front of my car and said drive thru closed, too many cars. #3 Tried drive thru again and had to cut my car off because the line wasn’t moving. I also had coupons to use but I’m too aggravated to go back. I gave my coupons away.
