A 32 year-old Cleveland area resident was arrested Tuesday night in connection with last week’s shooting and robbery of a 29 year-old Kenly man.
The victim was found around 7:00pm last Wednesday, May 3rd on Old Drug Store Road near the I-40 / NC42 interchange suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower back.
Last night, Johnston County deputies arrested Michael Dolan Beasley of Goldfield Drive, off Cornwallis Road, for felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, felony robbery with a dangerous weapon, and felony conspiracy.
Beasley was confined in the Johnston County Jail under a $150,000 bond.
