Johnston County Commissioners have approved funding requests to help the Towns of Benson and Princeton with ongoing projects.
Benson was awarded funds, not to exceed $500,000, towards the construction of an elevated water storage tank.
Princeton was awarded $445,228 for its Beaver Dam Creek Rehabilitation project.
Both funding projects were approved by unanimous vote.
