SMITHFIELD – The annual Johnston County surplus auction will be held this Saturday, May 11, 2024 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Johnston County Sheriff’s Fleet Services Garage, located at 60 Shelter Way in Smithfield.
The Johnston County Commissioners recently agreed to surplus 27 county-owned vehicles no longer in use by the Sheriff’s Office and other county departments.
Wester Auction Company (NCAL 7026) will be conducting the auction live and online, with no buyer’s premium. Vehicles will be sold as-is to the highest bidder. In addition to the county-owned vehicles, there are consignment items that have been added to the sale.
