A delivery driver is accused of causing extensive damage at a Cleveland area home this week.
A driver for FedEx Freight was making a delivery to a home on Victor Court Wednesday night when the driver accidentally struck a Mastercraft X-45 boat in the homeowners yard. The boat sustained approximately $10,000 in damage. The Dodge FedEx delivery truck suffered an additional $1,000 in damage.
The accident occurred on private property and was investigated by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office. No injuries were reported and no charges were filed.
