Deputies Arrest Willow Spring Man On Rape Charge
JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — A Willow Spring man has been charged in connection with an alleged sexual assault.
Caleb Matthew Allen, 24, was arrested April 28 by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office and charged with second-degree forcible rape.

According to authorities, the investigation began in early April after deputies received a report from the Cary Police Department. Officials said the alleged assault occurred in September 2025 in Johnston County and involved an adult victim who was acquainted with Allen.
Allen was released April 30 after posting a $200,000 secured bond.
As conditions of his pretrial release, Allen was ordered to wear an electronic monitoring device and to remain at least 100 yards away from the victim’s home and workplace.

I do not agree with this news story. I do not know this man or the accuser, but I don’t think this is at all “innocent until proven guilty” by blasting these accusations to the public. Why not wait until he’s actually convicted before you label him as a rapist??? Because I know if he’s acquitted you won’t be writing a news story about that…
He was arrested for Rape. The Court Case will occur withing 2 years. His Right to a Speedy Trial wont happen.
