A Johnston County man died in a single vehicle car crash about a mile from his home.
The wreck was discovered around 8:00pm Saturday on Crocker’s Nub Road in northern Johnston County.
Joseph Randy Creech, 57, of Middlesex lost control of his car in a curve, ran off the roadway, then struck two trees. Creech died at the scene.
The NC Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
According to his obituary, Creech was an equipment manager for PLT Construction in Wilson. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday from 5PM until 8PM at Kenly Funeral Service.
