Driver Killed In Single Vehicle Accident
A man lost his life in a single vehicle accident Monday morning on Old Baucom Road in Wake County, near the Johnston County line. The roadway was shut down for hours following the 10:15am crash.
Michael Coombs of Raleigh was traveling on Old Baucom Road when his car ran off the roadway, overturned several times and struck a utility pole, according to state troopers. The car came to rest upright on its tires. The 60 year-old driver died at the scene.
Duke Energy crews spent several hours on the scene replacing the damaged pole.

This article iis scary, sounding like self driving cas, if it ran off the road? Turning over several times and striking pole.Passengers are unsafe in these.
