Drivers Injured In Two Car Accident

SELMA – Two vehicles were heavily damaged in a collision on NC Highway 39, less than a mile from US 301 in Selma. The crash happened Sunday night. Two cars met nearly head-on.

Both drivers were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

The Selma Fire Department and Johnston County Sheriff’s Office closed Highway 39 for just over an hour until the scene could be cleared. The State Highway Patrol investigated the mishap.
