Drug Search Warrant Executed At Benson-Area Home
BENSON – The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office executed a drug search warrant at a Benson-area home. Narcotics agents searched a home June 9 on Norris Lane, just off McLamb-Tart Road, near the Benson city limits.
Agents said they seized an undisclosed amount of marijuana, firearms, and drug paraphernalia. No one was at home when the search warrant was executed.
On June 13, agents arrested two people they said resided at the address. Zachary Austin Stutts, 22, and Abbie Dawn Norris, 20, were charged with maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for a controlled substance, felony possession of a controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Stutts and Norris were both held on $10,000 bonds at the Johnston County Jail.
No additional information was released.
