East Clayton Elementary Teacher Named A Super Star

The Clayton Chamber of Commerce has selected Ramona Westbrook from East Clayton Elementary as their Super Star Teacher for the month for April.  Super Star teachers demonstrate excellence and leadership in their classroom, creativity and motivation of their students and show a high level of commitment to our community.

Westbrook serves as the Lead Teacher for the Exceptional Children’s Department at East Clayton Elementary.   She mentors new teachers and works with all teachers to insure that the needs of the students are being met on a daily basis.   She is creative with her lesson plans, scheduling and classroom management and is always finding new and unique ways to her students learn and succeed.

Ms Westbrook is the advisor for the Green Kids Club.   She works with students to make the campus beautiful and eco-friendly.   Ms Westbrook is an invaluable leader both in her classroom and among the staff.  She is known as an encourager and a coach and is a Super Star every day at East Clayton Elementary
