Fire Damages Selma Home

SELMA – A home in the Selma city limits was damaged by flames. The fire was reported around 5:45pm Saturday in the 900 block of W. Anderson Street.

Members of the Selma, Smithfield and Pine Level Fire Departments along with Johnston County EMS responded to the scene. Selma Police assisted with traffic control.

It took about 30 minutes to bring the blaze under control. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

No injuries were reported. The Red Cross is assisting four people who were displaced.
