Incumbent Republican NC House members Larry Strickland and Donna White of Johnston County both won reelection to their respective seats Tuesday.
In District 26, Representative White (R) carried just over 59 percent of the vote total defeating challenger Linda Bennett (D). White received 19,622 votes and Bennett 13,396.
In District 28, Representative Strickland (R) received 72 percent support among voters with 15,282 ballots to Wenda Ella May (D) who received 5,884 votes.
Results in both NC House races are unofficial until certified by the Johnston County Board of Elections.
