CLAYTON – A two car accident Tuesday afternoon sent four people to the hospital. The collision happened about 4:20pm on Gordon Road between Clayton and Wilson’s Mills.
A westbound passenger car and eastbound SUV collided in a curve. The driver of the car was trapped in the wreckage and was freed by Wilson’s Mill Fire personnel.
The driver of the SUV, a mother, and her two young children who were passengers, were injured. All four accident victims were transported by EMS to the hospital.
The roadway was shut down for more than an hour.
The State Highway Patrol investigated the accident.
