Police are trying to identify a gunman who robbed a Smithfield auto parts store.
The robbery happened around 7:30pm Saturday at Advance Auto at 110 N. Brightleaf Boulevard.
Smithfield Police said a lone suspect entered the business, produced a handgun and at gunpoint removed an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register. The suspect then fled on foot with the cash.
No injuries were reported.
On December 12, 2016, the Advance Auto Parts at 5992 Highway 42 West near I-40 in Cleveland was robbed at gunpoint.
