JCPS Launches New Family Resource Webpage

SMITHFIELD — Johnston County Public Schools has launched a new Family Academy webpage aimed at making district information and family resources easier to find.

The webpage brings together commonly used information including school calendars, enrollment details, Infinite Campus, school meal menus, the school finder and other district services.

It also includes district announcements, school closure information and links to frequently used departments.

One feature, called JCPS In the Know, includes short tutorial videos designed to help families use district resources.

Topics include accessing school calendars, using school nutrition tools, registering for transportation services, navigating the district’s transportation app and monitoring student progress through Infinite Campus.

Families can also find information on school choice programs, ClassLink, district policies, Board of Education resources and academic programs.

The webpage also includes district news, feature stories, photos, videos and other updates.

JCPS said the site will be updated throughout the school year with new information and resources.
