The Clayton Chamber of Commerce has recognized Jennifer Crisco of Clayton High School as the February Super Star Teacher of the Month. Super Star teachers demonstrate excellence and leadership in their classroom, creativity and motivation of their students and show a high level of commitment to our community.
Ms Crisco has created a tremendously successful learning environment for her biology classes. Students enjoy her classes and will flock to her room during Comet Time. She has established lasting relationships and created various learning strategies for them to use. Ms Crisco is a leader in the Flex Learning Days engaging students using interactive technology including YouTube Live and the Socrative program. She is helping establish a new Zoology course for Clayton High and also serves on the School Improvement Team. Ms Crisco is active on several school committees, leads Professional Development sessions, and always advocates for public education in the community.
