The top 5 responding counties are Orange, Union, Wake, Chatham and Guilford. The five lowest-responding counties are Graham, Avery, Jackson, Dare and Swain. Statewide the lowest response rates have been in households that lacked internet access, according to the report.
Because of COVID-19 the deadline to fill out the 2020 Census has been extended until August 14, 2020.
