DUNN – The Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors has announced the selection of Kristina Harrell as the Chamber’s new Executive Vice President. Harrell previously served as the administrative assistant for the DACC.
“I am looking forward to an exciting year of growth and success for our Chamber,” noted Linda Seaman, current DACC president. “Kristina has already made a huge impact to our Chamber and I know we are on the right road to success under her leadership.”
Before joining the Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce, Harrell served as a Regional Executive for a Fortune 500 company and has volunteered in various ministry roles, including finance, data management, volunteer leadership, and ministry retail space. She is married to her husband of 25 years, Steve, and has 3 daughters. She also recently welcomed a new granddaughter. She has been a resident of North Carolina for 20 years and currently lives in Benson.
“Growing up with a dad in the military, I have learned to love life in a small community while also embracing change and the benefits that come with it,” added Harrell. “It’s a new day at the DACC and I’m excited to work together with our business community to advance the economic growth, well-being, and quality of life of our community.”
