Man Charged With Felony Crimes Against Nature

SMITHFIELD — A 32-year-old Smithfield man has been charged with two felony counts of crimes against nature following an investigation by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office.
Hunter Wayne Davis of Brogden Road was arrested Feb. 26 after deputies began investigating a complaint received on Feb. 6.
Investigators allege the charges involve unlawful acts with two dogs. Officials have not released additional details about the allegations.
Davis was taken into custody and placed in the Johnston County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond.
