New BJ’s Wholesale Club Set To Open In Selma On Jan. 23

SELMA – Selma will welcome a new retail addition this week as BJ’s Wholesale Club opens its doors on Friday, Jan. 23.

The store, located at 370 Trinity Springs Lane, marks BJ’s 11th location in North Carolina. A BJ’s Gas station on the property began operating on Jan. 7.

The Selma club will offer a wide selection of groceries and household items, including fresh foods, baked goods, deli items, and everyday essentials. The store also includes services such as curbside pickup and same-day delivery.

Amanda Sullivan, the club’s manager, said the opening reflects the company’s focus on serving local families and providing convenient shopping options. “We’re excited to become part of the Selma community and support the needs of local residents,” Sullivan said.

In addition to retail operations, BJ’s plans to work with local hunger relief organizations. The company announced a partnership with Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, a central North Carolina nonprofit that addresses food insecurity. Through the partnership, the Selma location will donate food items such as produce, meat, and dairy products.

Inter-Faith Food Shuttle President and CEO L. Ron Pringle said the collaboration will help support families in the area. “This partnership will strengthen our ability to serve neighbors facing food insecurity,” Pringle said.
