Benson, NC: Mrs. Amy Lee Mason, age 53, of Drag Strip Road passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held-3:00PM Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Rev. Michael Preddy will be officiating.
Mrs. Mason was born on November 3, 1970 in Johnston County to Larry Earl Pleasant and to the late Joann McGee Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her mother. Mrs. Mason sold and managed life insurance where she helped many people over the years. She enjoyed many things in life including singing, playing golf, and dancing. Her favorite place was the beach and she loved her pets, Princess and ChiChi. She was a member at Hodges Chapel Church and adored her church family. More than anything else she loved her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Survivors include her husband, Virgil Brian Mason; son Joey Lee and wife, Dallas; grandsons, Lucas Lee and Grayson Lee; father, Larry Pleasant; sisters, Tracy Pleasant Pichardo and husband, Efrain and Lisa Pleasant Swearengin and husband, Lee; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00PM-2:45PM prior to the service on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home.
