Barbara Talton Thomas, 82, of Pikeville, went to be with her Lord and Savior, surrounded by her family, Saturday morning, January 6, 2024 at Kitty Askins. She was born in Johnston County August 21, 1941 to the late Ivey and Mabel Dixon Talton. Mrs. Thomas was the widow of Jimmy Randall Thomas. In addition to her parents, and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Ivey Thomas and her daughter Kim Thomas.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her grandson; Brandon Thomas, brother; Glenn Talton (Judy) of Princeton, sisters; Evelyn Mancuso of Pikeville, Laverne Woodard, and Peggy Kornegay both of Princeton, great grandsons; Elliott Thomas and Walker Thomas of the home.
The family will be receiving friends 4:30 – 6:00 pm Tuesday, January 9th at Casey Funeral Home & Cremations. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 6:00 pm, January 9th in the Chapel of Casey Funeral Home & Cremations. Officiating will be Pastor Dennis Pollock. The Committal Service will take place at 10:00 am Wednesday, January 10th in the Chapel of Casey Funeral Home & Cremations. Entombment in the Princeton Cemetery will follow.
