    Brandon Montez Giles Jr. better known as “BG”, was born to Bobbie Jean Giles and Sylvester Thompson on the 3rd day of January 1987, at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital in North Carolina. Brandon attended school in Johnston, Harnett, and Wilson County in his younger years. Later in life, he received his GED while incarcerated.

    He enjoyed sports and aggravating his little cousins teaching them how to fight and be tough. He will always be known and remembered for his hearty laughter his infectious smile and his heart of gold. Brandon’s favorite color was red. He was a man who loved his family. Brandon’s favorite saying was “You feel me” and “You heard me.

    Brandon Montez Giles Jr made his transition into eternity on January 28, 2024. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Gladys &Bobby Giles, a son Jayvlen Blue, and a sister Willa Taylor.

    He leaves to cherish his Memories: his daughter; Ma’Kyah Elliott of Dunn, one son Brandon Blue, and one granddaughter; Ka’Narri Dariae. His Mother; Bobbie Jean Giles Benson NC, His Father; Sylvester Thomas of Ohio, Two Sisters; Janiyah Giles & Johnasia Small; Three Brothers; Brute Giles, and Chu’Corey Giles all of Benson NC, Kendrix Giles of Savannah GA. One brother Timothy Covington (Debra) of Salisbury NC, and one God brother Michael James. Five Aunts, Elder Mary Richardson Erwin NC, Andrea Smith, Beatrice Giles, Angela Snead (Elwood) all of Benson. Two uncles, James Smith (MaryAnn) of Dunn, Brenda Thompson & Billy Giles (Natasha) of Four Oaks NC, and a host of nieces & nephews and other relatives and friends.
