Mr. Charles “PaPa” Poole, age 81, of North Orange St., Coats, passed away on June 21, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be 4:00pm on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. The Rev. Randy Beasley will be officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.
Mr. Poole was born in Harnett County on September 30, 1940 to the late Robert Waylon Poole and Virginia Dare Baker. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Winiford “MeMa” Lee Poole and a brother, Robert Willis Poole. Prior to his retirement Mr. Poole worked as a contractor for the State of North Carolina and he retired from Dorothea Dix.
Surviving includes his son, Keith Wayne Poole of the home; daughter, Wendy Poole Sposto of the home ; grandchildren, Travis Waylon Poole, Charles Dustin Langdon, Corey Lee Langdon, Brandi Kayla Poole and Tyler Wayne Langdon and fiancé, Chastity Jackson; great grandchildren, Eli Chase Langdon and Ella Grace Beni; sisters, Betty Patrick, Jewel Tysinger, Brenda Poole; special friend, Charlotte Wheeless.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 24, 2022 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
