Selma- Danny Ray Wall, age 78, died on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Johnston Memorial Health in Smithfield. Born in Wilson County on May 8, 1943, he was a son of the late Johnny Thelbert Wall and Ethel Lamm Wall.
Danny was a farmer and heavy equipment operator for most of his life, and enjoyed restoring old tractors and gardening in his spare time. He was also a member of Micro First Baptist Church. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM just prior to the service. Burial will follow at Selma Memorial Gardens.
Danny is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dianne Potter Wall of Selma; son, John Daniel Wall of Selma; daughter, Tracy Wall King and husband Lee of Selma; brothers, Randy Wall of Selma; Ritchie Wall of Selma; Tim Wall of Pamela Co; and grandchildren, Hannah and Emily Wall both of Selma.
