Four Oaks, NC: Mr. David Tony Johnson, age 70, of Parker Road passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at his residence with his wife by his side. Funeral Services 3:00 PM- Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks. Rev. Steve Crank will officiate. Burial will follow in the Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery in Four Oaks.
Mr. Johnson was born on March 11, 1951 in Johnston County, NC to the late Thomas C. and Irene Massengill Johnson. He was preceded in death by one of his four-legged child, Abby. Mr. Johnson retired from Universal Leaf Nash Tobacco Company as a tobacco regrader.
Surviving include his wife of 48 years, Crystal Jones Johnson of Four Oaks; his four-legged children, Bug and Ellie Mae; brother-in-law, Craig Jones and wife, Marilyn of Finton, Missouri; special friend, Kim Messer of Four Oaks; several cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:30PM to 2:45PM on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks prior to the service.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Friends of Johnston County Animal Services, 115 Shelter Way Smithfield, NC 27577.
