Smithfield – Ethan Daniel Bryant, age 34, went to his heavenly home on Monday, March 3, 2025, in his home in Smithfield, after his battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born, December 2, 1990, in Wake County. He was the son of Brenda Keen Sasser and Steve Sasser. He is preceded in death by his father, Billy Allen Bryant, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Rebecca Ann Keen and Roy T. Keen; and paternal grandparents Ann W. Beasley and Billy Allen Bryant, Sr.

Ethan was an avid outdoors man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and trips to the beach with his family and friends. Ethan was a crew leader for the Town of Smithfield Public Works Department. He was known for his smile and his willingness to help anyone in need. Ethan was a selfless and loving man, he never knew a stranger. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and he was especially proud of his new born son.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 2:00pm at Pisgah Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive visitors Wednesday night from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.

Ethan is survived by his loving wife, Gabrielle “Gabby” Elizabeth Bryant; son, Mason Roy Bryant; mother, Brenda Sasser and stepfather Steve Sasser; sisters, Hanna Keel (Morgan) and Taylor Sasser (Drew); aunts, Pam Keen, Karen Casey and Lorie Bryant; uncle, Terry Keen; nieces, Annaleigh Keel and Abigail Keel; nephews, Bryson Williams and Walker Williams; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
