Benson, NC: Mrs. Frances McLamb Adams, age 85, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024. Graveside Entombment Services will be 3:00PM, Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Roselawn Cemetery in Benson, NC. Rev. Doug Abel will officiate.
Mrs. Adams was born on December 6, 1938 in Johnston County, NC to the late Robert Earl McLamb and Nola Lee McLamb. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Adams and her siblings, Robert Earl “Joe” McLamb, Donald Ray McLamb, Bobby Glenn McLamb, and Janice Faye McLamb.
Mrs. Adams worked at Sylvania in Smithfield, NC and retired from Morganite in Dunn, NC. Mrs. Adams was also a homemaker, and enjoyed keeping her two babies.
Survivors include her step-daughter, Sherry Norris and husband, Todd; grandchildren, William Norris and Adam Norris; sisters, Shirley McLamb, and Peggy McLamb; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:45PM-2:45PM, Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC, and on Wednesday afternoon at the home 602 E. Church Street, Benson, NC 27504.
