Mrs. McLean was a wonderful Chorus teacher at Smithfield-Selma High School in Smithfield, N.C. I was a band student of Mr. John Windley who was a U.S. Army veteran. My Senior year I had an extra elective so I took Chorus. The two teachers brought us all together to unite and to love one another, and this stayed with me. They showed how great Smithfield and Selma can really be. I am looking forward to celebration of her life and the legacies of these great educators, all they did for us in Johnston County, N.C.
