Selma – Marshall Irvin Creech, age 68, passed away Monday January 29, 2024, at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Wilson County on October 28, 1955 to the late Charles Cleo Creech and Mildred Aycock Creech.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday February 1, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the chapel of Parrish funeral Home. A funeral service will follow the visitation on Thursday at 7:00 PM in the chapel. His ashes will be interred at a later date.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Creech; son, Marshall “Lynn” Creech (Tracie); daughter, Brandi Barfield (David); step children, Tommy, and Tina Barbre; brothers, Stewart Creech, Dennis Creech, and Chris Creech; 7 grandchildren, David, Ryan, Alexis, Marshall, Catelin, Dakota, Isabelle; his best friend and companion, Fred.
Mr. Creech was a truck driver for over 20 years for Winn Dixie and a store manager for ABC Clayton Store for 18 years. During his truck driving career many knew him by his handle, “Wild Man”.

He was well liked among Winn Dixie drivers like myself. Always had a kind word to say, always a bright outlook. My prayers for his family and loved ones. I’m sure I speak for all the former WD drivers.
