Four Oaks – Ronnie Lynn Lawhorn, age 72, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, in the PAM Specialty Hospital in Rocky Mount. Born, November 10, 1951, in Harnett County, he was a son of the late Linwood Lawhorn and Lola Allen Lawhorn.

Ronnie was a loving husband of 52 years to his wife, Sara, whom he loved dearly. He was a hardworking man and very caring to all. He was a competitive golfer, competing in many tournaments over the years. He also enjoyed fishing, taking trips to the mountains, and he was a grill master. Ronnie also enjoyed farming and caring for his cattle. Most importantly, he loved his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with the burial to follow in the family cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sara Thomas Lawhorn; daughter, Lynn L. Prescott (Stephen) of Four Oaks; brothers, Charles Lawhorn (Beverly) of Four Oaks and Johnny Lawhorn (Joyce) of Selma; sister, Kathy Ward (Jimmy) of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Matthew Prescott and Penelope Prescott; as well as many nieces and nephews.
