Pine Level – Mary Elizabeth (Lib) Creech Radford, age 101, passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 12, 2025 at Smithfield Manor Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Johnston County on December 1, 1923 to the late W. Herman Creech and Ione Woodley Creech. In addition to her father and mother she is also preceded in death by her husband, Hubert F. Radford.

A graveside service will be held in Creech Cemetery in Pine Level on Saturday February 22, 2025 at 11 AM. The family will receive visitors following the graveside service.

She is survived by her son, Dr. William H. Radford Sr., and wife Alice of Pine Level; grandson, Dr. William H. Radford Jr., and wife Becky; great grandchildren, Taylor, Emma, Carly, Juliette; sisters, Jean C. Worley, and Billie Ann Peal.

Mary was a member of Pine Level Missionary Baptist Church and played the organ for many years in the church. She worked for over 38 years with the Federal Government with ASC and the Federal Crop insurance Corporation. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and crocheting.
