Mitchell Lynn Bowden, age 56, of Linden, passed away on March 26th, 2024 at home with family by his side. He was born on August 15th, 1967 to Rebecca and Wayne Bowden.
Mitchell is survived by his brother, John Bowden of Linden; sister, Tina Prichard and husband Mike, of Linden; brother Joe Barnett and wife, Audra of Stedman. And nephews Clay Bowden, Chase Prichard, and Dusty Sherron, of Linden; nephew, Josh Barnett of Clinton, NC and niece, Grace Ramirez of Morrisville, NC. Also many cousins.
He was a skilled heavy equipment operator by trade and he loved operating big construction machines. Even as a child, Mitchell and his brother, John, always asked for construction equipment toys (motor graders) at Christmas.
Years back, Mitchell also enjoyed riding four wheelers and his beloved dog, Taterhead, often rode with him.
Mitchell was greatly loved by his family and will be dearly missed.
A visitation is planned for Saturday, March 30th, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Erwin West and Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the funeral home Chapel at 2:00 pm. Burial will be immediately after the service at the Bowden Family Cemetery in Linden.
