Benson, NC: Mrs. Oneita Johnson Creech, age 93, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Johnson Better Care in Dunn surrounded by her loving family. The Creech Family will be holding private services.
Mrs. Creech was born on June 9, 1930 in Wake County to the late David Wiley and Maggie Spence Johnson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eli Creech Sr., sisters and brothers, David Johnson, Willard Johnson, Josh Johnson, Bertha Dunn, Daisy Roland, and Oliphine Hocutt; and her special pet, Rusty. Mrs. Creech worked with Stephenson BBQ for 17 years. She enjoyed working in yards.
Surviving include her children, Phyllis Sorrell and husband, Jerry of Garner, Robert Eli Creech Jr. and wife, Penny of Linden, Danny Creech and wife, Amy of Benson; grandchildren, Kaylee Creech, Dawson Creech, Austyn Creech, Josh Creech; several nieces and nephews.
