Robert Lee Hocutt, age 89, died Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at his home. Born February 27, 1932 in Johnston County he was a son of the late John Henry and Minnie Atkinson Hocutt. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Hocutt and Herbert Hocutt. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army for 2 years while stationed in Okinawa.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 27, 2021 in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Middlesex.
Surviving are his brother, Billy Hocutt and wife Barbara D.; sister, Emma Maidon, all of Zebulon; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Robert’s caregiver, Diana Carranza, for all the care she gave Robert over the years.
