Selma – Sherron Ann Hicks, age 81, passed away peacefully on Monday January 20, 2025 at Smithfield Manor. She was born in Johnston County on April 30, 1943 to the late Leland Grice and Ruby Dozier Grice. In addition to her father and mother she is also preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Hicks; daughters, Debbie Morehouse and Kelly Hicks Almon; brothers, William Grice and Leland Grice Jr.

The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Saturday January 25, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12 Noon. A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel at 12 Noon on Saturday. Burial will follow the service in Micro Memorial Gardens.

Sherron is survived by her son, Chris Hicks and wife Angela of Red Oak; daughter, Wendy Stile and husband Tim of Selma; sister, Carol Daniels of Selma; grandchildren, Daniele Murray and husband Kevin, Bailey Hicks and fiancé Sam, Brandon Beasley and Zachary Almon; great grandchildren, Carson, Palmer, Kinsley, Lyric and Logan.
