
Thomas Elton Aycock, 75, of Princeton passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025. He was born in Wayne County on June 6, 1949 to the late Alford Jesse Aycock and Clara Wilkins Aycock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Judy Jackson Aycock.
Mr. Aycock was a graduate of the Princeton High School Class of 1967. He retired from the State of North Carolina. He enjoyed going to the mountains and also enjoyed wood working. He would help anyone with anything they needed. Taking pride in the appearance of his yard was very important to him. Mr. Aycock was a member of Tee’s Chapel FWB Church. He was a strong man of faith, striving to live a Christian life. He was a devoted husband and a devoted father to his son, Alan.
Mr. Aycock is survived by his wife, Carolyn Lawhon Aycock; son, Alan Aycock; Stepson, Mark Holt; Step Daughter, Deva Holt Wiggs; Grandson, Chase Jackson; Granddaughter, Rebecca Little; Great Grandson, Jackson Little; Brother, Alford Ray Aycock; and Sisters, Clara Ann Potter, Shirley Newcomb, and Jenny Evans.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Casey Funeral Home and Cremations.
The funeral will be held in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 12:00 pm with the Pastor Dennis Pollock officiating.
The committal will follow after the funeral at the Princeton Cemetery.
