Benson, NC: Mrs. Wanda Smith Jordan, age 71, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Wake Medical Center. A Celebration of Life Service will be held-2:00 PM on July 13, 2024 at Overflow Church in McGee’s Crossroads.
Mrs. Jordan was born on December 29, 1952 in Harnett County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Corbett Lee Smith and Betty Jean Byrd Smith. Prior to retirement, she was a paralegal. She had a charitable heart and loved to give and do things for others, especially through her talent of cooking and crafting. She had a love for the mountains that was instilled in her by her mother and a love for the beach in memory of her father. More than anything, she loved her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving mother, a proud grandmother, and a great friend.
Surviving includes her children, Sam Jordan and wife, Destiny, Andy Jordan and wife, Jennifer, Rad Jordan and wife, Betsy, and Mattie Johnson and husband, Brad; and grandchildren, Taylor Jordan, Bailey Jordan, Drew Jordan, Max and Miles Jordan, Finn Jordan, Claire Johnson, Luke Jordan, and Grace Jordan.
