Benson, NC- On Wednesday June 30, 2021, Alex Sokolowski, loving father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 67. Alex was born on October 24, 1953 in Syracuse, NY to Raymond and Irene Sokolowski.
Alex was a wonderful, loving father, father in-law and grandfather. Alex had a passion for his family and friends. He is loved and adored by his daughter, Cristina, son in-law Joshua and grandchildren Carter and Caeden. Alex was known to always have a great story, a laugh and a smile. He loved traveling within the states and abroad. He also enjoyed fishing, photography, architecture, movies, music and working with electronics.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 7, 2021 in St. Ann Catholic Church in Clayton, NC. Visitation will commence at 9:00 am and mass at 10:00 am.
Surviving are his daughter, Cristina Rutyna and husband Joshua of Clayton, NC; grandsons, Carter and Caeden Rutyna of Clayton and fiancée Koi and her daughter, Kloy.
