Barbara Pate Gurley, 70, of Goldsboro passed away at Wayne Memorial Hospital on Monday evening January 23, 2017. She was born September 25, 1946 and was the daughter of the late James Art Pate and Eloise Cole Pate. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Daniel Gurley.
Ms. Gurley is survived by a son, Ray Evans of Goldsboro; daughter, Sandy Gurley of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Adrienne Watkins Nance, Raymond Eric Evans and McKayla Evans; stepfather, Albert White of Spring Lake; stepsister, Cheryl Gutierrez of Raleigh and special friends, Larry and Lucy Dail.
There will not be any formal funeral services.
