SELMA – Carol Talton Webster, age 74, died Wednesday morning in UNC Johnston Health. Born December 25, 1944 in Johnston County to the late Carl David and Eunice Vera Little Talton, she was the widow of John Belvin Webster and was preceded in death by a son, Michael Webster. She and her husband owned and operated Webster Gas Company from 2000 – 2016 and she was a member of the River Oak Church of God in Selma.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the River Oak Church of God with the Rev. Michelle Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Price Cemetery.
Surviving are her sons, Russell Webster and wife Johnna and Johnny Webster and wife Lori all of Selma; sister, Shirley Capps and husband Johnny of Micro; three grandchildren, Michael Webster and wife, Dallas of Four Oaks and Bethanie Moore and Sarah Moore both of Selma and two great-grandchildren, Hayden Webster and McKinley Grady.
The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 a.m. at the church just prior to the service.
