Selma – Charles Rufus Futch, age 79, passed away Friday May 21, 2021 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. He was born in Johnston County on December 11, 1941 to the late John and Bessie Jones Futch. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by wife, Hilda Futch; brothers, Ray and Rusty Futch; sister, Edna Ellis.
A memorial service will be conducted in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Wednesday May 26 2021 at 2 PM. The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1 PM to 2 PM.
Mr. Futch is survived by sons, Scottie Futch and wife Amy of Pine Level, Chris Futch and wife Renee of Selma, Rudy Futch of Pine Level; brother, Walter “Slim” Futch; sister, Shirley Johnson; grandchildren, Bryceson Futch, Addison Futch, Paisley Futch, Lydia Futch, Mackenzie Futch, Kayde Martin Brianna Futch.
