Dennis Earl Smith, age 61, died Monday, November 16, 2020 at his home. Born November 8, 1959 in Johnston County he was a son of the late Lawrence and Mozell Dupree Smith. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Smith. Dennis had a love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, attending “Mopar” car shows with his grandson, Jayden, and “just being awesome.”
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Becky Smith of the home; daughter, Amy Smith-Britt and husband Jason of Mt. Olive, sister, Phereba Holland of Smithfield; grandsons, Jayden Smith and Jaxon Britt; and his dog, Bo.
