    Wade, NC: Mrs. E. Jean Guin Burlingame, age 85, of Wade Stedman Road, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Highland House in Fayetteville. Graveside Services will be 2:00PM, Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the Roselawn Cemetery Community Mausoleum in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Dean Temple.
    Mrs. Burlingame was born February 27, 1935 in Johnston County to the late John Henry and Madie Benson Guin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Burlingame; sister, Melvie Guin. Mrs. Burlingame was a retired beautician.
    Surviving include her daughter, Deborah Creech and fiancé, Billy Blackmon of Wade, son, Nick Simmons and wife, Elaine of Belgrade, Montana; grandchildren, Amanda Simmons, Philip Simmons and fiancé, Tori, Chance Simmons, Faith Simmons; two great-granddaughters; sister, Wanda Blackmon of Kenly; brother, Mitchell Guin of Benson; several nieces and nephews.
    Mrs. Burlingame will be available for you to view and sign the register book from 12:00PM-5:00PM Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. The family will not be present during this time.
    In lieu of flowers; memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516 or Fayetteville Animal Protection Society, 3927 Bragg Blvd, Fayetteville, NC 28303.
    In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W’s: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Masks are required for all services.
