McGee’s Crossroads, NC: Mrs. Frances Lillian Langdon Revels, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at her home. Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM-Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Rev. Randy Beasley will officiate. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier, NC.
Mrs. Revels was born on July 28, 1926 in Johnston County to the late David Judson and Lillian Johnson Langdon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vann Melvin Revels, daughter, Velator Mallett, granddaughter, Van Michelle Phillips and a sister, Lucille Langdon Barbour. Mrs. Revels was a homemaker and was known for her cooking especially her cakes and pies. She member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving include her son, Vandy Ray Revels and wife, Sandy; daughter, Sherry Revels Cannady and husband, Robert; grandchildren, Neil Phillips and wife, Susie, Matthew Revels and wife, Margaret, Mark Cannady and wife, Abby, Ethan Cannady and wife, Lindsey; eight great-granchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Revels’ register book will be available for you to sign on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 3:00PM-6:00PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. The family will not be present during this time. The family will receive friends following the committal service at the cemetery.
