Grace Pittman Evans, age 90, of Princeton passed away on December 23, 2018 at Johnston Health. Born in Johnston County on December 4, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Almond and Beulah Toler Pittman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie C. Evans and a son, Clifton Evans. Mrs. Evans was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with burial following in the cemetery at Hephzibah Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 10-11 am.
Surviving are her son, Donald Evans and wife Jenny of Selma; Glenn Evans and wife Gayle of Selma; her former daughter-in-law Karen Evans Watkins and husband Thomas of Princeton; her sister, Ila Grey Hayes Bizzell of Princeton; grandchildren, Emily Sorrell, Travis Evans, Donna Bullard, Rebecca Evans, Zach Evans, Amanda Biedekapp, Heather Chappell and Mackenzie “Kizzie” Evans; and great grandchildren, Justus Sorrell, Katelyn Evans, Olivia Evans, Miranda Hardison, Matthew Biedekapp, Madison Biedekapp, Abby Bullard and Rachel Bullard.
