Benson, NC: Mr. James Edward Boan, age 77, died Monday at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield, NC. A Memorial/Devotional Service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson. Officiating will be Pastor Eddie White.
Mr. Boan was born September 21, 1940 in South Carolina to the late Oscar Edward and Ruth Parks Boan. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Boan and Jimmy Boan and brother-in-law, Rayford McDonald. Mr. Boan was a mechanic in the automotive industry.
Survivors include brother, Bob Boan of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Glennie McDonald of Lillington; sister-in-law, Beverly Boan of Wake Forest; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the Memorial/Devotional Service at Rose and Graham Funeral Home.
