Smithfield- Jerry Wayne Adams, age 73, passed away Tuesday July 7, 2020 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. He was born in Johnston County July 14, 1946. He is preceded in death by Wife, Gail Adams; Parents, Junius and Flonnie Barnes Adams;; Brother, Jimmy Adams; A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Monday July 13, 2020 at 3 PM. The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral on Monday from 2 PM to 3 PM. Burial will follow at Knollwood Cemetery in Smithfield. Mr. Adams is survived by son, Jeff Adams and wife Miranda of Raleigh; Sister, Janice Raynor and husband Richard of Wilsons Mill; Grandchildren, Luca and Hattie Adams; Aunt and uncle, Ola Jean and Billy Wilkins.
